The Marketing Specialist should be a self-motivated individual with broad marketing skills, able to juggle priorities and meet project deadlines. Join our growing marketing team and work on all aspects of the Marketing function at Inceptra. This includes lead generation, sales support, brand awareness build, and customer communication. The successful candidate will support the Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of marketing programs using marketing tactics, such as email marketing, online and social advertising, nurtures and automation, events and webinars, landing page optimization, online and social advertising, and more to grow and convert our database.



  • Creation, implementation, and measurement of digital marketing campaigns to generate and nurture leads
  • Planning and execution of both virtual and in-person lead gen events, such as industry trade shows/conferences and in-house webinars
  • Management and growth of company’s social media channels, including copywriting, visual content creation, posting, and social advertising
  • Maintenance of corporate website using CMS tool and website content creation, including landing pages for events and marketing assets
  • Editing and digital promotion of blog articles written by engineering team members
  • Copywriting and design of marketing materials which include monthly email newsletter, digital and social ads, brochures, case studies, press releases, presentations, etc.
  • Customer and prospect database maintenance and enrichment
  • Research, implementation, and ongoing use of a new digital marketing automation tool to better manage, measure, and optimize marketing efforts
  • Other ad hoc duties as required


Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing of technical products/software is required
  • Value-added reseller (VAR) marketing experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential
  • Both a doer, and a builder – you thrive in the weeds and details of execution, but you’re also a big-picture thinker and can craft strategies that help us achieve our goals
  • Digital marketing experience using a marketing automation tool such as Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua, or other, with proven incremental lead gen results
  • Event marketing experience leveraging top notch project management skills to deliver on time and on budget execution
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills are essential
  • Very high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required
  • Appreciation of the importance of completing tasks on deadline needed
  • Ability to graphically design/layout both internal and external communication pieces – not at a graphic designer level but at a marketing professional level
  • Experience with CRM systems, Google Analytics, Google Ads
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), MS Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel), and Adobe Premiere Pro or other video creation software
  • Occasional travel for industry tradeshows
