A native component within DELMIA Apriso Quality, 3D Visual Quality Defect Tracking (3DvQDT) helps speed up defect reporting with greater accuracy and adds a powerful new visual level to your analysis, enhancing quality reviews and improving root cause analysis.

DELMIA Apriso 3D vQDT is available on desktop PCs and tablets and can enhance quality programs in virtually any manufacturing environment. It allows  you to report visual quality defects from 3D models for greater accuracy. The 3D model can be imported along with product information, making it easier to create and maintain product visualizations in a 3DXML format that would normally require the maintenance of several product images and snapshots.

DELMIA Apriso 3D vQDT is intuitive and easy to use for quality inspectors, production line and warehouse workers, and anyone else responsible for product quality. The 3D product image can be sourced from a variety of applications, including PLM, CAD drawings, etc. to enable a more complete and accurate quality analysis.

It is presented on the workstation or mobile device, where the user can mark the specific location and associate a picture of the problem along with additional defect code and other information for later analysis.
